Shared Clinical iPhone Improvements and Continued Rollout

Following access issues with our shared clinical iPhones, technical teams are developing improvements to prevent future login issues. This should be completed before the end of the year, allowing our remaining sites (HMB, HMCL and HMSL) to resume iPhone device rollout as follows:

HMCL: Jan. 13-19
HMB: Jan. 20-26
HMSL: Jan. 27 – Feb. 2

BioIntelliSense (BioButtons)

What is it?

Device placed on the patient’s upper left chest that provides continuous vital sign data to the bedside team and the virtual nurse (heart rate, respirations, temperature, activity, sleep).

Why are we using it?

This wearable device streamlines workflow and ensures the proactive detection of early changes in the patient’s status.
