Use Documents Viewer to Access Historical Hospital Medical Records

Formerly Accessed from Launch MPF

Click the Documents Viewer button in Epic if you need to view historical hospital records. You can find the Documents Viewer button in Chart Review under the Encounters or under the Media tab. See this tip sheet for more information.

Note: You could previously view historical records by clicking the Launch MPF button, but this was removed in February.

If your location has received training on viewing records from the Launch OnBase (located under the Epic menu) you should continue to access them this way. See this tip sheet for more information.
