Training is essential for your team’s Go-Live readiness.

Epic is a robust system, and your team needs the opportunity to have hands-on experience and practice well before Go-Live. As a result, Epic training begins approximately two months before your Go-Live date. Training is role-based, workflow-based and hands-on to promote a realistic learning environment. Training formats include both instructor-led and e-learning. Training is required for Epic system access.

Since we learn best through experience, your team will have opportunities to practice workflows in the Epic “playground” prior to Go-Live. After training, all physicians and staff can access the Epic playground environment, which includes test patients and scenarios related to each job role.
