For Inpatient and OB Nurses
To make it easier for our patients’ loved ones to know who to contact for more information, the unit/department name and phone number are now included on certain preconfigured text messages. Also, messages sent over the previous five days are visible in Epic on the Profile report within Patient Lists.
Examples of updated messages:

Your loved one’s care plan has been adjusted. Please call the unit HMH Alkek 7 at 713.441.3072 for an update.
