Tech Tuesdays are weekly, one-hour training sessions hosted by Microsoft and open to all Houston Methodist employees.

  • July 27 – Teams 200 – Build on existing Teams knowledge to establish best practices and etiquette across available apps.

  • Aug. 3 – Teams 100  Learn to create and participate in quick, collaborative team chats and file sharing (introductory course).

  • Aug. 10 – Teams 200 – Build on existing Teams knowledge to establish best practices and etiquette across available apps.

  • Aug. 17 – Forms 100 – Learn to create surveys and quizzes, respond and analyze response data.

  • Aug. 24 – PowerApps – Learn to build and share apps, connect an app to a data source and understand how Power Apps integrate with other products and services.

  • Aug. 31 – Power Automate 100 – Learn the basics of Power Automate and how to create and automate workflows across multiple applications.

  • Sept. 7 – PowerBI  Learn to unify data from multiple sources to create interactive, immersive dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights and drive business results.

  • Sept. 14 – Lists L100  Navigate and understand list creation, sharing and tracking, and build lists from templates.

  • Sept. 21 – OneDrive Learn how to store important work files and the convenience of having all your data available to you at any given time. Keep your data constantly backed up with automatic back-up and maximize your local storage space.

  • Sept. 28 – OneNote  Learn the digital note-taking app that provides a single place for keeping all your notes, research and information.

  • Oct. 5 – Outlook and Outlook Mobile 100  Learn to manage your mail, calendar, tasks and contacts and view available options to customize your experience in Outlook and through the mobile app.

  • Oct. 12 – Outlook and Outlook Mobile 200  Understand Outlook rule creation and management, delegation features, using delayed delivery and mail recall, and importing calendars.

  • Oct. 19 – SharePoint 100 Learn to share and manage content, find information and collaborate systemwide. This introductory course focuses on successfully navigating SharePoint and shared resources including lists, plans and notebooks.

  • Oct. 26 – SharePoint 200 Learn about sharing and permissions, workflow management, content types, and various components for building effective team sites.
