Team Activations
Team Activations provide a standardized, Epic-based method to rapidly notify and coordinate specialized clinical response teams across Houston Methodist. By placing a Team Activation order in Epic, providers can securely alert the appropriate on‑call team through Haiku/Rover and Secure Chat, ensuring timely communication and continuity of care. Team Activations integrate with QGenda and Epic On‑Call Finder to route notifications accurately by role, specialty and location. Use the resources on this site to support safe, consistent and effective team activation workflows.

Downtime Process
When Epic is experiencing a downtime:
