Provider restraint orders for both violent and non-violent restraints were updated, now requiring you to clarify the patient’s behavior that’s necessitating the reason for restraint or seclusion.
- For non-violent restraint orders, you’ll now select one or more Restraint Reason options:
- Attempting to remove tubes/lines.
- Attempting to interrupt treatment.
- Other – Specify
- For violent restraint orders, Danger to self and others was added as a Restraint reason.
