As a reminder, to ensure privacy and protection for their intellectual properties, Epic Corp. requires any contractor or third-party vendor to be reviewed and approved by Epic before security access is provided. This includes new vendors, contractors assigned to new roles that weren’t previously approved, scribes and other outside staff working with or in Epic. Houston Methodist employees, Community Connect partners and affiliated providers with HM privileges don’t require additional review.
To request access, the vendor must complete the Epic Application for Access form. Vendors must include the following information and list the name of the HM person they’re working with as the contact.
