PULSARA APP

HMB: New EMS Transport Notification Launches Monday, Oct. 24

Complete Online Training Now

Beginning Monday, Oct. 24 at the HMB Emergency Department, Pulsara, a new technology, will improve lifesaving ability by alerting medical teams to be on standby when critically ill patients are on their way and arrive at the hospital.

  • With the Pulsara app, community-based paramedics and EMTs can alert the HMCL ED teams from the ambulance when they’re bringing in patients with strokes or other acute conditions.

  • This advance notice prepares ED teams for incoming critically ill patients, and teams then can alert the stroke team, interventional radiology or other services as needed.

  • Paramedics and EMTs can use Pulsara to send a patient’s vital signs and other information, like an EKG, pulse oxygen level and more, while on the way to the ED.
