You’ll now see a new question when completing a patient’s preop consents that will help provide clarity and decrease delays for procedures. The new addition, added to the Complete consent for window, provides clarity for the perioperative nurse by pointing out whether risks/benefits were discussed by the ambulatory physician or his/her staff when the patient’s order was initially placed.
