Epic will experience a planned downtime from 2 to 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, as we move Epic to the cloud for improved reliability. Please keep any Epic-enabled workstations or laptops on during the downtime window, so they receive the update. Otherwise, allow yourself extra time when connecting to the network for the first time, as your device may experience a slower startup and reboot when you first log in.
During this time, Epic Read-Only will be available for you to access patient information, current as of the downtime start. Please note, you can’t document or place orders in Epic Read-Only. Dragon dictation devices will be disconnected from Epic Read-Only.
