HMSL is piloting a new application in Epic called Pieces Predict. The application is part of the Discharge Navigator and helps reduce a patient’s length of stay.
All case managers can now see the application, but only HMSL Case Managers can add/display Patient List Columns (e.g., comments for case managers, summary, discharge barriers and predicted discharge date). After the pilot is complete, this may expand to other HM entities over the course of the year.
