PerfectServe Fully Decommissioned, No Longer Accessible on HM Workstations
PerfectServe is no longer accessible on HM workstations, and the vendor has removed schedules and user access from mobile apps. Our contract with PerfectServe has ended, and the platform has been fully decommissioned.
Why is this changing?
- With the successful rollout of QGenda scheduling and the integration of Epic On-Call Finder, we now have the ability to leverage native Epic workflows and tools — eliminating the need for a third-party application, like PerfectServe.
- This change is designed to simplify your workflow, improve security and keep everything in one place — Epic.
What’s the benefit?
- On-Call Schedules in Epic: No more switching between systems. On-call schedules are now available directly within Epic.
- Streamlined Notifications: When Team Activations are triggered in Epic, the on-call group will receive a push notification that opens a notification message containing all relevant patient information — right where you need it.
- One Platform, One Workflow: Instead of using PerfectServe for notifications and messaging, everything transitions into Epic, creating a more efficient and secure experience.
What’s next?
- Epic On-Call Finder is now your source for viewing on-call provider team information, instead of PerfectServe.

- To communicate with colleagues, you’ll now use Secure Chat, instead of PerfectServe. Secure Chat allows you to securely text colleagues through desktops, WOWs or Epic mobile apps, like Haiku, Canto and Rover.
