Due to an increased demand for PCs, laptops, monitors, smartphones, etc. there is a global shortage for anything with a chip, like computers and phones. At HM, this impacts anyone needing a new PC, like new hires, existing staff needing an upgrade or someone who may need a laptop to replace their desktop. As a result, the manufacturer’s lead time for new PCs is at least six months.
We are working on filling requests with existing equipment until we can build up a better supply.
