For Radiology US Techs, Imaging Nurses and Managers
The order panel for US paracentesis and US thoracentesis procedures has been updated to place the associated lab orders in a sign and hold status. When the ordering provider uses the panel, the labs will be held. This will help prevent SOFT from releasing them early, making the labs difficult to find or have them preemptively canceled.
Signed lab orders are held until the appointment time, when imaging techs or nurses release them.
