On My Way Expands to Emergency Care Centers, HMCL on Tuesday, March 19

The patient scheduling app called On My Way is expanding to all Houston Methodist Emergency Care Centers (ECC) and Houston Methodist Clear Lake emergency department (ED) on Tuesday, March 19. This patient-friendly approach will roll out systemwide to all our hospital EDs soon.

On My Way will show patients the closest ECC and actual wait time, and allow them to schedule when they’ll show up for urgent care. If the closest ECC shows a longer wait time, they can choose another ECC location.

The app launched last month for HM Same-Day Clinics. Currently, it’s available on the MyChart website, and this summer will become available on mobile on the MyMethodist app.
