New Outpatient COVID-19 CDC Requirement

For All Clinicians

In alignment with the latest CDC updates to discontinue isolation, a confirmed COVID-19 infection status will now automatically expire in 20 days for non-hospitalized patients. This is due to available data indicating that persons with mild to moderate COVID-19 remain infectious no longer than 10 days after symptom onset and persons with more severe to critical illness or severe immunocompromise likely remain infectious no longer than 20 days after symptom onset.
