Starting today, you’ll receive a new alert for morphine IV orders on ESRD inpatients who’ve had a Dialysis order in the last 72 hours or have ESRD noted on the Problem List. The alert recommends using alternative therapy to reduce the risk for opioid induced respiratory depression.
