Report Suspicious Button and Confirmation Email in One

To improve the ease and speed of reporting suspicious emails, any email from an external sender (someone outside of Houston Methodist) will now include a Report Suspicious button in the header. If you don’t know the sender and the email appears to be a potential phish or scam, simply click the button to alert IT security. Note: Clicking the Report Phish button also continues to be a way to report a suspicious email. Select one of the options that is most convenient for you (see the two options below).

• Click the new Report Suspicious button. 

• Click the Report Phish button. 

Ever wonder if the email you reported was really a phish?
If you reported an email as suspicious, you’ll now receive a follow up email letting you know if it was safe. Simply report it using one of the buttons outlined above and you’ll receive a follow up email.
