New DME Ordering Process: Parachute Health

For All Case Managers, Social Workers and Extenders

On Tuesday, March 24, DME ordering will be streamlined directly within Epic through the new Parachute Health system. This will expedite your patient’s DME and simplify your DME ordering and signing processes, including: 

  • Better DME ordering experience.

  • Sign on to only one platform.

  • Reduced order time.

  • Improved discharge turnaround times and order transparency.

  • DME order now attaches to your patient’s medical record.

  • Enhanced communication with suppliers.

  • Supplier quality reporting and service assessment.
