New Corrective/Sliding Scale Process Improves Patient Safety

There is now an easier process for changing the Corrective/Sliding Scale in the Diabetes Mellitus Hyperglycemia Order Set – improving patient safety and helping prevent medication duplications.

To change a previously entered corrective/sliding scale:

1. Click the Modify button in the Active Orders.
2. The sliding scale and associated dosage can be adjusted using the corrective scale buttons.
