New Alert for IP Medication Orders Placed More than 90 Days Out

Starting Wednesday, Feb. 1, when you place an inpatient medication order more than 90 days in advance, you’ll receive an alert. This will support the new 90-day limit on inpatient orders and prevent them from being scheduled too far out. If you receive this alert, you’ll need to modify the order or place it at a later date.
