The end of the year is a great time to celebrate accomplishments, reflect on challenges and set new goals. At Houston Methodist, we’re fortunate to have so many positives on our 2018 list. This great work would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of our IT teams. I thank you for your contributions and dedication to our patients, care teams and our operational partners.
While 2018 was a big and successful year, 2019 looks to be even bigger with many innovative initiatives on the horizon. In addition to new tools to help our clinicians communicate with each other and the first Houston Methodist app, we will move to a quarterly Epic update schedule. 2019 also marks the 100th year anniversary of our great health system. I hope you’re as excited as I am about next year.
