Let Tip Sheets Tell the Story

• Link to tip sheets wherever possible. They help tell the story clearly and concisely, rather than hassling with formatting in ChangeGear. Don’t copy and paste information from tip sheets into the KBA, and don’t add them as attachments. Linking means the content will stay updated when the tip sheet is updated. 

• Be sure to save any tip sheets in the special file storage location in SharePoint listed below. To ensure everyone has access, do not save tip sheets in your team’s SharePoint files.

• Non-Epic tip sheets: Stored on the Knowledge Management Learning Hub. You can create your own with this tip sheet template. Then upload it on the Knowledge Management Learning Hub, and include the link in your KBA Body. The IT Training team will review the tip sheet after you submit the article for IT Commsreview and will let you know if there are any questions.

• Epic tip sheets: Stored here: Tip Sheets – Application View. Click the Epic application to see tip sheets for that topic. Before you create an Epic tip sheet, be sure one isn’t currently available. If not, contact your IT Training instructional designer.
