Feb. 25-26 and March 11-12

What’s Happening?

Beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb 25 until 2 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 26 and 9 p.m. Saturday, March 11 until 2 a.m. Sunday, March 12, IT will conduct systemwide maintenance impacting some wireless devices joining the network at specific times. Locations will be impacted for up to 20 minutes at different times (see schedule below). If you’re connected to the network before your designated time frame, you won’t be impacted. This is only for anyone trying to connect a wireless device to the Wi-Fi network during the designated time frame.

What is Impacted?

This impacts wireless devices connecting to any of the following Wi-Fi networks: HMH_PWN, Meth_PWN, Meth_MWN and includes devices like WOWs, Zebra smartphones with Rover, IV Pumps, Capsules and wireless printers. If you’re unsure whether your device is connected to one of these Wi-Fis, click the Wi-Fi symbol on your wireless device. Note: This won’t impact guest Wi-Fi, Cisco phones, Vocera, devices on HMH_Mobile or wired devices.

What Do I Need to Do to Prepare?

  • Make sure the devices listed above are connected to the HM network before the change happens at your location (see schedule below).
  • Keep your devices turned on and online.
  • Save your work often during your impacted time frames.
  • Report any issues to the IT Service Desk.

The following locations will be impacted in 20-minute intervals on Saturday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, March 11 during the time frames listed below.
