IT Service Improvements to Better Support You

Information Technology is changing how you receive support, so you can focus on our patients and the work you do. It’s called IT Service Operations (formerly Field Operations) and it is focused on getting you more timely support. We are launching these changes currently at HMCL, with plans to expand systemwide later this year.

With the new IT Service Operations team comes these exciting changes:

  • IT Service Operations will round more frequently at each facility to identify and address your needs.
  • In April, we’re implementing a new system called ServiceNow. This will help direct your IT tickets to your local IT Service Operations to handle your issues and questions. This should result in faster resolutions.
  • You will be able to stop by IT support stations, conveniently located at each hospital. Someone locally will be available to address your needs or find the right team to help.
  • Your calls to the IT Service Desk will also be rerouted to local support teams for assistance.
