On Tuesday, Sept. 5, DNR/Modified Code orders will be updated to align with new DNR regulations. When selecting legal surrogate options for spouse/adult children/parent(s)/nearest living relative, in situations where the patient lacks decision-making capacity and death isn’t imminent, you’ll now be required to select a provider from the Concurring Physician field. Documents linked via the Decision Tree links at the bottom of the order will also be updated.
