Houston Methodist received the 2019 HealthCare’s Most Wired recognition for the 12th consecutive year. The award acknowledges organizations for innovation, adoption and optimal use of information technology as is presented from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHiME).
This year CHiME added a new category for Most Wired ambulatory facilities. We also received this notable recognition for outstanding technical accomplishments, earning a Certified Level 8 Quality Award.
“Houston Methodist is honored to be recognized, for the 12th time as one of the nation’s Most Wired, and to receive the first-ever Most Wired ambulatory quality award.,” said Ken Letkeman, chief information officer. “We continually strive to leverage our technology for innovation and improving patient care at Houston Methodist, so we can keep the patient at the center of everything we do.”
The Most Wired annual awards are the industry gold standard for health care technology achievement.
