Focal Point Review (FPR) is now underway – don’t wait to complete your TB test, in-services and performance evaluation. FPR is a multi-step process, with different elements and deadlines.
#1 – Complete your annual review. Log on to MARS and choose the LMS SuccessFactors tile to find your in-services. There are 12 in-services to complete this year and completing them will take from two to three hours. In-services must be completed by Aug. 28.
If you’re a new employee who started on or after April 1, you don’t have to repeat the in-services until 2020.
#2 – Complete TB screening. All Houston Methodist employees, including those who don’t have direct patient care responsibilities, are required to participate in TB screening by Aug. 28 (skin test placed by Aug. 26). Look below for a schedule of TB screenings at Chase and Holly Hall.
New hires who participated in NEO before April 1 must repeat the TB test again. You can check your compliance in MARS. If you completed NEO after April 1, no action is required. For FAQs, click here.
#3 – Evaluate yourself. Self-evaluations are now open and must be complete by Friday, July 12.
