Epic Changes – Week of May 30

The following changes went live in Epic the week of May 30.

Ambulatory: A new column is being added to all Ambulatory Storyboards to show if a patient is on the registry or has a patient type of Adult Heart Congenital Disease.

ASAP: The Required Documentation report is available in Summary for ED nurses to review which required documentation has/has not been completed within the timeframe.

Beacon: Mylotarg to QS to 25 mL order requires the calculated dose be checked before order is signed.

ClinDoc: New column for Patient Lists and Reports for Bladder Scan Volume. Summary Report for Epic Deterioration Index available for respiratory therapists.

Stork: Delivery Summary now contains bilateral salpingectomy, right and left salpingectomy.

Willow: The existing Anticoagulation BPA has been divided into 3 more specific BPAs—Epidurals and Anoxaparin, Epidurals and Heparin and all of Epidurals and other Anticoagulants.
