Congratulations to our ambulatory clinics for maintaining the coveted HIMSS Stage 7 accreditation, the highest ranking for technology adoption of ambulatory care! This accreditation scores health care organizations worldwide based on electronic health record capabilities. For HM, it validates that we’ve successfully adopted Epic and are using it to improve quality of care and facilitate better outcomes. Only 11% of ambulatory groups worldwide hold this designation. Three years ago, HM was the first in the Greater Houston area to receive this award.
