On Monday, Oct. 7, Clinical Pathways, a nursing-centric program that improves tracking of patient outcomes during hospital stays, will launch at HM community hospitals for colorectal and hip/knee/spine service lines. Clinical Pathways integrates with Epic for more efficient documentation and greater visibility of patient progress across multiple healthcare disciplines.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 16, required training for the Clinical Pathways program will be available in LMS SuccessFactors for inpatient nurses at our community hospitals. The online course, Epic Clinical Pathways (ID 1577164) takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and has been assigned by unit managers.
This is the only training for Clinical Pathways, and it’s important that you complete it prior to the launch for colorectal and hip/knee/spine service lines on Monday, Oct. 7. Additional information, including tip sheets, are available at it.houstonmethodist.org/clinical-pathways.
Additional Pathways for CABG and heart failure are planned for later this year and next.
For questions about the training, please talk to your manager or contact IT Training.
