Two IT Help Buttons Available in Epic Starting Tomorrow, Nov. 14
Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 14, if you work in Epic, two buttons will be available, allowing you to get IT support and report and track tickets, without leaving Epic and disrupting your workflows. These convenient new tools are part of our IT service transformation and commitment to providing better service to you.
Note: The options below aren’t for critical or patient-safety issues. If you’re experiencing an urgent issue, please call the IT Service Desk.
IT Button – For All IT Issues and Services, Including Epic
The new IT button (blue IT icon, see image below) is located on the top Epic toolbar. It opens a sidebar, where you can quickly submit issues and requests, track your tickets and find answers on your own for all of your IT issues, including Epic.
Submit Help Desk Request Button – For Epic Only
The Submit Help Desk Request button (envelope with question mark, see image below) is also located on the toolbar and has been expanded so you can submit any non-urgent Epic-related issues. When you click the button, it captures a screenshot of your Epic screen to provide to our IT analysts.
