Workstation Reboot for System Maintenance

Impacts All Non-SSO Workstations

HM computers and workstations (not including single sign-on devices with “VDI” displayed on the desktop) will undergo maintenance, including a five-minute Epic interruption for those who use Epic and a workstation reboot for everyone. The schedule is as follows:

  • HMB, HMCCH, HMCY: 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20

  • HMW, HMWB: 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22

  • HMSL, HMTW: 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27

  • HMCL, HMH and any other workstations not previously included: 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29

For Epic Users Only
An hour before the maintenance, a pop-up notification with a one-hour countdown clock will notify Epic users that the update will start soon, and you’ll be logged off Epic. You’ll be prompted to press Close Programs and start the update immediately, or you can press Continue to allow yourself more time. Once you get to the hour marker, you’ll be forced to start the update.

After the update, the workstation will automatically restart, and you’ll need to log back into Epic. Devices turned off overnight may take slightly longer to start up after the update.
If icons are missing from your desktop:

  1. Right-click on the Citrix Workspace icon in your hidden icons toolbar.
  2. Select Sign In…, if you aren’t already signed in.
  3. If you’re signed in, select Refresh. This should restore all icons to your desktop.
