New Service Desk Call Option at HMCL

Starting Monday, Feb. 19, when you contact the IT Service Desk, you’ll hear a new prompt for Houston Methodist Clear Lake. This is a part of our IT Service Transformation where we’re changing our IT service delivery model to better support you.

In November, we surveyed HMCL to learn more about the services IT provides. We heard that HMCL would like their local IT service operations team to answer their calls. That is the reason we incorporated the new prompt. Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday calls will be answered by HMCL IT team members.

Our IT Service Transformation began in HMCL. We will expand this concept to other campuses this year.
