Earlier this week, the first clinical groups at HMCCH, HMCL, HMH and HMW began transitioning to QGenda/Epic On-Call Finder, allowing these groups to access on-call schedules directly in Epic, via the Epic On-Call Finder activity. This provides one, dedicated on-call repository to quickly access accurate, real-time on-call information and helps ensure the right on-call providers are available and contacted — improving patient care, access, safety and outcomes.

For now, clinical groups impacted can still use their current on-call processes but are encouraged to start using the Epic On-Call Finder activity and becoming familiar with it.

Remaining groups at these locations will be added over the next few months.

At this time, enterprise schedules, like Telestroke/Telepsych won’t be in QGenda/Epic On-Call Finder.
