A new Provider is out of network warning message now displays in SPG/PCG scheduling and check-in workflows in Epic. This helps staff advise patients when the selected provider is out of their health plan’s network. If the warning appears, schedulers should help patients find an in-network provider or quote out-of-network benefits. You can click Continue to proceed with scheduling the appointment.
The warning should only appear in SPG/PCG scheduling and check-in workflows. If you schedule inpatient or outpatient procedures and see the warning, please contact the IT Service Desk and note the error.
