Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Removed from WOCN
Effective Monday, Oct. 31
On Monday, Oct. 31, acute care physical therapy (PT) at HMH will manage inpatient wound vacs instead of the Wound Care Center and WOCNs.
As a result, the option to select negative pressure wound therapy was removed from the Consult to Wound and Continence Nurse. Note: No changes were made to Consult PT wound care. Negative Pressure Wound Therapy continues to be an option.
