Successful Pharmacy Inventory Management Upgrade at HMH
Systemwide Downtime on Oct. 3 for HMB, HMW and HMWB Implementations
On Sept. 19, we successfully completed an upgrade to our pharmacy inventory management system at HMH. This provides increased stability and a foundation for future improvements and integrations with Epic.
“This update to pharmacy inventory management system represents another step forward towards real-time integration and an opportunity to reduce costs,” said Dr. Ghalib Abbasi, PharmD, MS, MBA, system director of pharmacy informatics.
Upgrades will take place at HMB, HMW and HMWB on Monday, Oct. 3, and HMSL and HMTW on Monday, Oct. 24. Each upgrade includes a systemwide downtime from 2-3 p.m. for Pyxis and Pharmogistics/Logistics.
