Known Issues from the Update

After the Update, the following issues were identified. Technical teams are working with the vendor to resolve:

  • With the new Book It tool, schedulers can’t change recurring series appointments to dates outside the initial appointment range. For more details and workarounds, review this message.

  • Patients’ copay no longer displays under Patient Registration in the Payments section of the Access or Registration Navigator. To view the copay due, go to Pt Guar and Cvg then click on Patient Coverage.

  • Prepay data is overriding the copay amount on the Payment Collection screen, for existing estimates. If the estimate is detached, copay and prepay can be manually entered on the Payment Collection screen, but MyChart will only display the prepay amount. Note: When the copay is included in the estimate, the patient’s account isn’t impacted.

  • MyChart is not prompting patients for pre-payment when self-paying for MyChart video virtual visits. Patients can start their virtual visit without payment and will receive a charge after the visit.
