Starting Monday, Aug. 1, the single Diffusion Capacity (PFT40) order will be removed. Instead, you’ll now use the Diffusion Capacity panel of combination orders, which includes other tests, like spirometry. This helps us provide appropriate pulmonary functions tests for our patients and resolve issues around scheduling and reordering that occur when the order is placed alone.
