For Remote Epic Access Users Use New Epic Horizon Tile in Access Portal Before Friday, June 17 Install New Horizon Client Application If Prompted
Two Epic tiles, one labeled Citrix and one Horizon now appear when you launch Epic through the Access (access.houstonmethodist.org) portal. To provide greater security and application stability, HM is in the process of transitioning to the new Epic Horizon tile. You should start using the Epic Horizon tile now. On Friday, June 17, the Epic Citrix tile will be removed from Access.
Note: The first time you open the Epic Horizon tile on a non-HM device, you may be prompted to download and install the Horizon Client. Click here for instructions. For more information on Access and Horizon, review the FAQs.
