Nurse Workload Acuity Score Column
Selected Units Piloting Monday, April 4
Starting Monday, April 4, selected nursing units will pilot the new Workload Acuity Score column. This PAF column can be added to the nurse manager/charge nurse’s patient list to help with patient assignments. The column displays the workload acuity (not patient acuity levels) expected to care for patients currently on the unit, helping managers to balance assignments and alleviate overly strenuous nursing shifts. Note: This doesn’t replace nurse managers/charge nurses’ clinical discretion.
This feature is slated to rollout systemwide this summer.
