There’s a known issue when entering a referral. If the To provider and To dept fields are already populated, the red stop sign may display, and you won’t be able to sign the referral order.
If you experience this issue:

Delete the auto-populated provider and department information.

Accept the referral.

Go back into the referral and re-enter the provider and department information.

Sign the order.
