Updated Medication Education BPAs
On Monday, March 7, the medication education Best Practice Advisories (BPAs) are getting updated to improve the frequency of communication with the patient regarding their medication’s purpose and possible side effects. Additionally, the BPA won’t fire if the patient is already receiving a medication within the same class prior to admission and the Acknowledge Reasons are getting updated based on nursing feedback.
