Effective Monday, Oct. 15, each type of mechanical prophylaxis device, as well as patient/family device declines, will have its own flowsheet row on the Care/Safety navigator to capture specific data points and selections.
The expanded options will improve Houston Methodist’s ability to capture Venous Thromboembolism electronic measures required for submission to CMS as part of the Inpatient Quality Reporting Program and Promoting Interoperability Program.
