For All Epic Users
If a department or unit begins with ZZZ, don’t select it. If you do, it may cause billing and reporting issues. Remember to be careful which department you select, as department names may look similar.
- Closed departments:
- Keep these departments in Epic for six months after they close.
- After six months, you can delete them. This gives time for financial reconciliation.
- New departments:
- These departments are built in preparation for future expansions and are waiting for activation.
