On Sept. 17, Houston Methodist will launch Phase II of the Elavon payment processing initiative, replacing existing credit card devices with the latest chip/PIN technology.
The HMSL and HMCL EDs and Sienna Emergency Care Center will go live at 7 p.m. Sept. 17. All other HMSL/HMCL hospital areas and various PO departments will go live on Sept. 18.
Note: Electronic check scanning devices will deploy at a later date.
