90 Degree Benefits and TPAs Acquire Entrust Insurance

For Patient Registration and Scheduling Staff

Houston Methodist entered into a Letter of Agreement with Entrust (a TPA focused on small employer groups) for hospital participation in 2017. 90 Degree Benefits and its partner TPAs acquired Entrust.

During the transition, patient’s accessing our agreement will be under the name Entrust or 90 Degree Benefits, and their ID cards will have an M. These patients receive 100 percent covered care at HM.

In Epic, you will see Entrust / 90 Degree Benefits Coverage M (20001302). It’s set up as a PPO with contract rates, but you’ll need to enter the claims address at registration. If the address area is grayed out, delete the plan and add it again.

Click here for a list of current groups accessing our hospitals under this agreement.

Here’s a sample of the cards showing the M.

Note: Entrust / 90 Degree Benefits (20001301) offers several products, including minimal essential coverage plans, but the 100 percent coverage applies only to those with the M coverage plan. For all other patients, select the Entrust / 90 Degree Benefits (20001301) plan that’s set up as a commercial plan.
