Novel Coronavirrus (2019-nCoV) patient education was added to the FHIR Education library in Epic. The “Understanding 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCov) Health Sheets” are available in English and Spanish and can be found by key word or clinical code search.
The information can be added to a patient’s education topics within FHIR Education and printed when they are added to the patient’s chart. They are also automatically printed in the After-Visit Summary and available in MyChart at discharge.
